Community Update: Burnt Oak Drug Enforcement Activity |
||
|
Over recent weeks, police officers have carried out a series of targeted operations in the Burnt Oak area to tackle suspected drug dealing and associated criminality. As a result of this proactive work, in the last 10 days alone, four individuals have been arrested for offences relating to the supply of Class A drugs including cocaine and heroin. During these arrests, officers seized a significant quantity of drugs — enough to produce over 720 individual street‑level deals. These substances have now been removed from circulation, helping to reduce the harm that drug supply brings to our community. This work is part of an ongoing operation, and officers will continue to patrol key locations, act on intelligence, and work with partners to disrupt drug activity in the area. More enforcement activity is expected as investigations continue. We would like to thank local residents and businesses who have already shared information with us, please continue to do so. Community intelligence plays a vital role in helping us identify offenders and take meaningful action to keep Burnt Oak safe. If you have information about crime or antisocial behaviour in your area, please report it to us by calling 101, or online via the Metropolitan Police website: You can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
